Summer Term 2021 - Our Changing World
Thank you for your impressive work again this week - you are making me feel so proud the way you have adapted to your on line learning tasks and live lessons with so much enthusiasm and interest.
I miss you lots but when I see your comments on the Classroom stream it almost feels like we're still having fun learning together, like we would be in school.
There is some VERY IMPORTANT information below about live lessons which I would like you to share with your parents.
Our Y3 lessons this week are on Tuesday 26th (Maths) and Wednesday 27th January (English) at 11am. It would be really helpful if you could complete your scheduled activities before the lesson. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil please. You will also receive a follow up task linked to the live learning.
We will also be having two check-in sessions on Monday and Friday at 11 am. Please join if you can!
You need to log in to Hwb and follow the instructions on the video that has been shared through Schoop, on our class page of the website and on here. If you do not have your HWB log-in then please let me know today so I can re-send to you. I HAVE ATTACHED A VIDEO TO SHOW YOU HOW TO ACCESS TEAMS ON HWB WHERE WE WILL MEET FOR OUR LIVE SESSION. PLEASE WATCH THIS WITH AN ADULT BEFORE THE SESSION.
Please log-in 5 minutes before the session starts. You may have your camera on as I can't wait to see you all! Please ensure that your microphone is on mute - this will make it easier for us all! This is very exciting and new to us all so please do not worry about anything...it will be incredible to see you all!
Love, Mrs Thomas xxx
The Year 2, 3 and 4 topic for the Autumn term is called 'Crazy Celts and Rioting Romans!'. We will be looking at Celtic ways of life and the Roman invasion.
Please click on the topic web below to see what we are learning about in class.
