Think of real-life heroes - Captain Tom, Mother Teresa, Gareth Bale,  doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters etc.
What qualities do they have (strong, brave, proud, inspirational etc.)?
Create a powerpoint showing the qualities of a hero (Google Classroom).
5. Our new R.E. topic is 'New Life'. By speaking to your family and friends (use google classroom too), collect good news that people have received and create a good news board on Google Classroom.
6. Friday 8th May is VE Day 75th anniversary (Victory in Europe at the end of World War 2). Create an invitation for a member of your household to invite them to a party in your home - a family tea, picnic in the garden etc. Purple Mash.
7. Musical Chairs x 9 Purple Mash. Practise your 9 times table first, then play the Musical Chairs game.
8. Complete Local habitats task on Purple Mash. When you go on your daily walk or are in your garden, try to find local habitats for a variety of minibeasts. Identify the minibeasts and show why the habitats are suitable for them.

9. Access Charanga using log-in details that Mrs Jones gave you in Trombone sessions (link at bottom of page).
10. Do one thing daily to make someone smile at home - make your bed, help with the dishes etc.
11. Please clap and cheer for our wonderful NHS and all keyworkers on Thursday at 8 p.m.
We will be singing Happy Birthday for Captain Tom on his 100th birthday after this too.

I miss you all so much and know that you are all trying your best. Please keep in touch on google classroom and remember to keep smiling and helping at home. Love Mrs Jones x
