At the Federation of St Illtyd's and St. Mary's Primary Schools, we believe that every pupil should reach their full potential. January 2022 the SEN system will be changing to a new 'Additional Learning Needs' ALN System. 

 

From January there will be a single legislative system relating to the support given to children and young people aged 0-25 years who have ALN and are receiving education and/or training.

EP Support Line Service for Parents 

 

Educational Psychology Service in RCT and Merthyr Tydfil 

 

If you think you need any further advice after speaking to your child's class teacher and the ALNCO please see the service highlighted below

 

The EPS Support Line runs 3 afternoons per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and offers parents the opportunity to discuss any concerns they may have regarding the well-being and/or learning needs of children. 

 

This service will enable you to access psychological support without having to wait for a school visit.
